MARDAN: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested two suspects accused of kidnapping and murdering a six-year-old girl, an official said on Monday. Speaking at a press conference, Superintendent of Police (SP) Operation Shafiullah Khan Gandapur told reporters that the father of the victim, Latif Khan, had got registered a complaint about the abduction of his six-year-old daughter. The official said that police after investigation arrested accused Tahir Badshah, who, during interrogation, confessed to the crime and disclosed the name of his accomplice. Police also arrested his accomplice identified as Waseem. The official said that police had also recovered the girl’s body.
